The Trustee Transaction Analyst will be part of CSC's Global Trust & Agency team and is responsible for assisting with client onboarding and ongoing administration of trustee mandates (including note trustee, security trustee and security agent roles). The Analyst will liaise closely with other transaction parties during the setup of the structure and participate in the closing of transactions. They will be responsible for working with clients to collate all correct KYC information, working with Group Compliance to ensure it is input into relevant databases and all necessary approvals received prior to the deal closing. The Analyst will also be responsible for assisting with invoicing and for managing and completing (according to specified timeframes) all annual KYC refreshes, for inputting deal data into relevant databases, as well as administrative tasks such as filing, deal signings, documentation management and dealing with the limited amounts of incoming/outgoing mail.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage and liaise with the client and other CSC teams to collate all KYC information for new deals.
- Work with Group Compliance and KYC Services teams to ensure correct KYC information is received and present the deal (if required) to the Business Acceptance Committee for approval.
- Create working party lists for the wider Trustee teams' transactions.
- Work with the wider Trustee team to manage deal signings.
- Input all trustee deal data into system of record (Salesforce).
- Ascertain all covenants and obligations relevant for the Trustee, and enter this, along with the relevant transaction details into the relevant database in accordance with CSC procedures.
- Deal with ad hoc simple transaction enquiries and/or relevant correspondence.
- Record time spent on relevant activities for client billing purposes in accordance with CSC procedures.
- Review invoices in accordance with fee letters and assist with financial control.
- Work on file reviews / refreshes.
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
- A degree in either law or finance would be beneficial.
- Experience of finance transactions in a corporate trustee or agency capacity is beneficial.
- Experience of finance-related work and some knowledge of financial markets is beneficial.
- An excellent level of communication skills, both oral and written, and a high level of interpersonal skills, giving the ability to work with all levels, both within and external to CSC.
- The ability to balance competing priorities and meet deadlines within the context of a demanding workload.
- The ability to work independently, and to work effectively as part of a team, both within the trustee team and in a multi-disciplinary setting.
