Job Description

  • Director of HR Business Partnership
  • Department: Shared Services

Working Pattern: Hybrid (3 days per week in the office following successful completion of the probation period)

Working Hours: 37,5 hours per week

We are looking for an experienced Director of HR Business Partnershipto lead our global People Advisory function, ensuring consistent, high-quality, and compliant HR support across all regions.

You will oversee employee relations, policy interpretation, manager support, wellbeing, onboarding, and other people matters while building a scalable and efficient global service model.

Working closely with Strategic People Business Partners and other People & Culture teams, you will ensure seamless collaboration, clear ownership of people matters, and an exceptional employee and manager experience.

  • Lead the design and evolution of the global People Advisory operating model, ensuring a consistent, efficient, and high-quality service across all regions.
  • Oversee the delivery of core People Advisory services, including employee relations, manager coaching, policy interpretation, onboarding and offboarding, wellbeing, workforce planning, and employee lifecycle support.
  • Establish service standards, governance, case ownership, and operating procedures that deliver a seamless and compliant employee experience.
  • Inspire, coach, and develop regional People Advisory teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with senior business leaders, Strategic People Business Partners, and other People & Culture teams to deliver integrated people solutions that support business objectives.
  • Act as the senior escalation point for complex employee relations matters, providing commercially balanced, legally compliant, and people‑focused guidance.
  • Drive organisational effectiveness by optimising team structures, workforce planning, and service delivery models to support future business growth.
  • Develop clear intake and case management processes, ensuring employees and managers receive timely, consistent, and high-quality support.
  • Monitor service performance through KPIs, data, and employee insights, using analytics to identify trends, mitigate risks, and continuously improve the employee experience.
  • Champion operational excellence by streamlining processes, enhancing governance, and ensuring consistent application of policies across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Play a key role in delivering global People & Culture initiatives and transformation programmes, helping to shape the future of the HR function.

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?

  • Extensive senior HR leadership experience within large, complex, and international organisations, with a proven track record of leading high‑performing People teams.
  • Deep expertise in employee relations, employment legislation, policy governance, and the delivery of scalable, best‑in‑class People Advisory services.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing global or multi‑country HR teams, driving consistency while adapting to regional and local requirements.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders, build trusted partnerships, and translate business priorities into effective people strategies.
  • Proven success in designing and optimising HR operating models, improving service delivery, and leading organisational and cultural transformation.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills, with a data‑driven approach to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Outstanding communication, leadership, and coaching capabilities, with the ability to inspire teams and lead through change.
  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
