As part of our expansion, we’re looking for Site Operatives to join our friendly, hard-working team based in Birtley, County Durham.
This is a fantastic opportunity to build a rewarding career in the construction and civil engineering sector, with ongoing training, progression and the chance to work on high-profile infrastructure projects.
The Role
You’ll join our maintenance team, travelling to projects across the North East (and occasionally further afield), supporting supervisors and experienced operatives in a variety of site-based tasks.
Work will include
- Concrete repair and waterproofing
- Painting of service reservoirs
- Maintenance of above and below ground concrete structures
This is a full time, permanent position, ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, teamwork and variety in their day.
- What You’ll Need
- A valid CSCS card
- A full UK driving licence
- Previous experience in a construction or site-based role
- A positive attitude, reliability and strong work ethic
- Willingness to work in confined spaces (training provided)
- Ability to travel to and from our Birtley depot daily
Desirable (Training can be provided)
- Experience in water or nuclear industries
- Concrete repair and coating experience
- Confined space, HPJW, abrasive blasting or first aid training
