This is a great opportunity for a Design Manager looking to progress their career within one of the biggest and most established main contractors in the UK. The business has a strong pipeline of work across Berkshire and the surrounding region, covering a broad mix of sectors and delivering some major schemes. The Role:
- Working across projects in the Berkshire area
- Based from the company's Theale office with hybrid working available
- Managing the design process from pre-construction through to delivery
- Working closely with project teams, consultants, subcontractors and clients
- Supporting the delivery of major construction projects
- Excellent long-term progression opportunities within a Tier 1 main contractor The Person:
- Previous main contractor experience is essential
- Experience working as a Design Manager on construction projects
- Strong understanding of the design management process
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Organised and able to manage multiple design packages
- Open to candidates from a range of sectors Package:
- £55,000 - £70,000 basic salary
