My client is looking for a Site Manager overseeing a £4.5 million refurbishment project in Brighton, converting a commercial property into 34 residential units
Key Responsibilities:
On-Site Supervision: Oversee daily operations on the construction site, ensuring work is carried out safely, on time, and within budget. Monitor progress and quality of work, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all construction activities comply with local building codes, health and safety regulations, and environmental standards. Liaise with local authorities to secure necessary permits and inspections.
Budget Management: Manage project finances, including cost estimation, budget tracking, and financial reporting. Approve expenditures and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of construction professionals, including subcontractors and labourers. Conduct regular meetings to communicate project goals, updates, and safety protocols.

Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment projects, Previous experience in converting commercial properties to residential units would be beneficial but not necessary
