The Role
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Site Manager to oversee a major, long-term commercial refurbishment and building services replacement project in the region. You will lead site operations on a complex year-long delivery programme involving extensive mechanical and electrical upgrades, structural alterations, modern Building Management System (BMS) integrations, and high-spec interior fit-outs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and progress align with programme targets.
- Oversee site setup, welfare facilities, material storage, and logistics.
- Coordinate directly employed site teams, specialist subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure strict adherence to health & safety, environmental standards, and ISO quality procedures.
- Maintain clear communication channels with project managers, clients, and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager leading large-scale commercial refurbishment, M&E infrastructure, or fit-out projects.
- Strong technical understanding of mechanical, electrical, public health, and BMS installations.
- Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, First Aid at Work).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, safety-first mindset with high attention to detail.
