Freelance Project Manager – Commercial Cat B Fit Out

As the on-site Project Manager, you will:

• Take ownership of day-to-day delivery on a live Cat B fit-out project
• Manage subcontractors, programme, quality and H&S
• Drive progress against milestones and report to senior management/client team
• Oversee design coordination, procurement and site logistics
• Ensure the project is delivered to spec, on time and within budget

We’re recruiting for an experienced Freelance Project Manager to lead a multi-million-pound Cat B commercial office fit-out in Ipswich.

Candidate

This is a stand-alone role where you’ll take full responsibility for delivering the project from start to completion.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven background delivering your own commercial fit-out projects (Cat B essential)
• Strong stand-alone leadership capability – able to run site independently
• Good technical knowledge and understanding of design, construction and services
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Available to start immediately

Rate: £400–£450 per day (outside IR35 subject to assessment)
