Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Take full ownership of the site, acting as the lead manager responsible for day-to-day operations.
  • Programme Management: Ensure the project runs to schedule, coordinating trades and subcontractors to meet key milestones.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high standards of workmanship and finishes, especially critical in high-end commercial interiors.
  • Health & Safety: Enforce strict compliance with H&S regulations, conducting regular site inspections and toolbox talks.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with the Project Manager, client representatives, and consultants to ensure smooth communication and issue resolution.
  • Site Logistics: Manage deliveries, waste removal, and site setup to ensure efficiency and minimal disruption.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve issues that could impact programme, budget, or quality.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Proven track record as a No.1 Site Manager on commercial fit-out projects up to £1M.
  • Strong knowledge of interior fit-out processes, including M&E coordination, joinery, and finishes.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
  • SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certifications.
  • Experience working in live environments or tight urban sites is a plus.
