The Role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join the pre‑construction team, producing accurate and competitive tenders and helping secure profitable work aligned with the company's high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
  • Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents
  • Carry out take‑offs and build up pricing schedules
  • Obtain, assess, and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations
  • Identify and manage tender risks and opportunities
  • Support value engineering and alternative proposals
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth tender‑to‑delivery handovers
  • Attend pre‑tender meetings and site visits as required
  • Maintain pricing intelligence, benchmarking, and estimating records

  • Proven experience as an Estimator within a contractor environment
  • Strong knowledge of tendering, procurement, and pricing strategy
  • Confident reading and interpreting construction drawings and specs
