Hours: 42.5 hours per week

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Responsibilities:

  • Attending and resolving customer care defects within occupied properties
  • Carrying out multi-trade repairs and maintenance to a high standard
  • Diagnosing issues and completing works efficiently and professionally
  • Liaising with the customer care team and site teams
  • Maintaining accurate records of works completed
  • Providing an excellent level of customer service at all times

Company: We are working with a well-established housing developer who is looking to appoint an experienced Customer Care Technician to cover new build housing sites across Cambridgeshire.

Candidate: This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson with strong customer service skills and proven experience in new build housing to join a growing and reputable developer on a permanent basis.

The Role: As a Customer Care Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out remedial works and defect repairs in occupied new build homes, ensuring a high standard of workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Candidate requirements:

  • Proven experience working in new build housing is essential
  • Strong multi-trade background (e.g. carpentry, patch plastering, basic plumbing, decorating)
  • Excellent customer-facing and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
  • Full UK driving licence
  • High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
