Title: Contracts Manager
They are currently looking for a Contracts Manager who is able to manage up to 3 projects at any one time at various stages of the construction process. Experience of pre-construction and tendering is essential.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Management:
- Ensure that contracts comply with legal requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
- Manage and resolve disputes, claims and any contractual issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Oversee the preparation of change orders, extensions of time, and other contract-related documentation.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks related to contract terms and project execution.
- Ensure that risks are communicated and managed effectively with all stakeholders.
- Develop strategies to address any emerging risks and reduce the impact on project timelines and budgets.
Coordination & Communication:
- Act as the main point of contact for all contract-related matters for multiple ongoing projects.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, legal teams, procurement, and other departments to ensure timely and accurate contract execution.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management regarding contract status, risks, and performance.
- Monitor and track project budgets, ensuring that contracts adhere to cost controls.
- Review and approve invoices, payment applications, and claims submitted by sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Support financial forecasting and budgeting by identifying potential cost overruns or savings in contracts.
- Oversee sub-contractor and supplier agreements, ensuring compliance with terms and performance standards.
- Facilitate the procurement process and ensure contracts are in place for all necessary services and materials.

Candidate Requirements
Qualifications:
