I am currently working on behalf of a forward-thinking and well-established Main Contractor with a strong presence across the UK and Ireland, who are looking to appoint an experienced Building Services Manager for a key project based in Oxford. The Role
As Building Services Manager, you will take ownership of the design, coordination, delivery, and commissioning of MEP services on a high-value construction project. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the design, drawing, and approval process in line with the project programme
- Working closely with pre-construction teams to ensure client requirements are fully understood and reflected in proposals
- Ensuring all building services are coordinated, integrated, and delivered on time
- Driving compliance with building regulations, planning conditions, and specifications
- Supporting planning teams to ensure MEP elements are fully integrated into delivery programmes
- Implementing and maintaining quality control systems to meet high standards
- Monitoring progress and ensuring specialist subcontractors are appropriately resourced
- Supporting commercial and quantity surveying teams with variations and valuations
