We are currently looking for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to work on a Lidl retail store project at Pinners Retail Park. The role will involve overseeing day-to-day site operations, managing subcontractors, ensuring health and safety standards are maintained, and helping to deliver the project on programme through to completion in September.
Duties will include:
- Managing daily site activities and trades
- Ensuring works are completed safely and to the required standard
- Coordinating subcontractors and site labour
- Carrying out site inductions and toolbox talks where required
- Monitoring progress against the programme
- Reporting to the Project Manager / Contracts Manager
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised site
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Site Manager on retail, commercial, or construction projects
- Valid CSCS card
- Own PPE, including hi-vis, safety boots, and hard hat
- Good understanding of health and safety on site
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Available to work on a freelance basis until September
This role is paid via CIS.
