About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the conversion of a railway arch in Peckham into a high-quality retail unit. This is an exciting refurbishment and fit-out project requiring a proactive manager with strong technical knowledge, excellent organisational skills, and experience delivering commercial construction projects safely, on time, and within budget. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining programme targets, and ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and quality throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all day-to-day site activities from commencement through to completion.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site labour.
  • Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications, and programme.
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Conduct daily briefings, site inspections, and toolbox talks.
  • Monitor quality of workmanship and ensure defects are addressed promptly.
  • Liaise with the Project Manager, client, design team, and statutory authorities where required.
