Freelance Site Manager - Residential Project (Traditional Build & Timber Frame)

Location: Faversham, Kent

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Type: Freelance

Duration: 12 Months minimum

We are urgently seeking a Site Manager for a residential development, overseeing a section of 40 units, covering both internal and external works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations on your section of the site (40 units)
  • Oversee both traditional build and timber frame construction phases
  • Manage and support an Assistant Site Manager reporting into you
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety on site
  • Coordinate subcontractors to ensure work is delivered to programme and quality expectations
  • Conduct regular site meetings and report progress to senior management
  • Oversee logistics, materials, and site organisation

Requirements:

  • Proven experience delivering residential schemes, including internals and externals
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with both traditional build and timber frame construction
  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification (in date)
  • Able to start immediately and work under pressure to meet deadlines
