Job Title: Production Manager – Residential Modular Pod Manufacturing Location: Kempston Job Type: Full-time (Permanent) Salary: £60k About Us: We are a leading manufacturer of high-quality residential modular pods, providing innovative solutions for homes, including bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and living spaces. Our state-of-the-art production facility specializes in creating fully integrated modular pods with steel frames, concrete structures, and comprehensive fit out including M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) installations. Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Production Manager who speaks Polish fluently to join our team. Job Description: As the Production Manager for our residential modular pod manufacturing line, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process, ensuring that the modules are built to the highest quality standards and are delivered on time. This includes managing the production team, coordinating the assembly of steel frames, concrete structures, and the full internal fit-out, including M&E installations. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee the day-to-day operations of the production line for residential modular pods, ensuring the timely and efficient assembly of modules * Lead, manage, and motivate a diverse team of production staff, ensuring effective communication and productivity * Ensure the production process adheres to health and safety regulations and meets quality standards. * Manage the build process of steel frames, concrete structures, and the full internal fit-out, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical installations. * Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless production flow, from design to final assembly. * Troubleshoot production issues, resolve technical problems, and implement solutions quickly to minimize delays. * Monitor production schedules and adjust workflows to meet deadlines and customer requirements. * Maintain high levels of product quality, ensuring all modules are built to specification. * Report production progress and any concerns to senior management. * Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure materials are delivered on time and meet quality standards. * Ensure proper stock levels of materials, tools, and equipment. Requirements: * Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in a manufacturing or construction environment, ideally in modular or prefabricated buildings. * Fluency in Polish, both spoken and written, to facilitate clear communication with the team and suppliers. * Strong knowledge of the production process, including steel framing, concrete structures, and full M&E installation. * Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team. * Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. * Good understanding of health, safety, and quality control standards. * Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. * Experience in managing production schedules and ensuring timely delivery of completed projects. * Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. * Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
