An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join a growing and financially strong main contractor delivering a landmark £140m residential development in Luton, comprising 292 new homes and a Community Hub. The Role

  • Managing day-to-day site operations and coordinating subcontractors.
  • Ensuring works are delivered in line with the construction programme.
  • Maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
  • Carrying out quality inspections and ensuring works meet specification.
  • Managing labour, materials and site logistics.
  • Chairing subcontractor meetings and coordinating upcoming works.
  • Identifying and resolving construction issues to minimise programme delays.
  • Producing site reports and working closely with the wider project team.
  • Driving high standards of workmanship through to successful handover.

About You

  • Previous experience as a Site Manager for a main contractor.
  • Residential new build experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience delivering housing or apartment developments.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Good understanding of construction programmes and quality management.
  • SMSTS, CSCS Card and First Aid at Work are essential.
