The Role
- Managing day-to-day site operations and coordinating subcontractors.
- Ensuring works are delivered in line with the construction programme.
- Maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
- Carrying out quality inspections and ensuring works meet specification.
- Managing labour, materials and site logistics.
- Chairing subcontractor meetings and coordinating upcoming works.
- Identifying and resolving construction issues to minimise programme delays.
- Producing site reports and working closely with the wider project team.
- Driving high standards of workmanship through to successful handover.
About You
- Previous experience as a Site Manager for a main contractor.
- Residential new build experience is highly desirable.
- Experience delivering housing or apartment developments.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Good understanding of construction programmes and quality management.
- SMSTS, CSCS Card and First Aid at Work are essential.
