About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to oversee the first phase of a major refurbishment programme at a school campus. This initial phase involves the refurbishment of 53 bedrooms, en-suite facilities, and associated communal areas, with further extensive works planned across the site in subsequent phases. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated construction professional to take a leading role in delivering high-quality refurbishment works within a live educational environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all day-to-day site operations to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, quality, and housekeeping throughout the project.
  • Ensure compliance with construction programmes and project specifications.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings.
  • Liaise with the client, project team, consultants, and school representatives.
  • Manage site documentation, records, permits, and reporting requirements.
  • Identify and resolve site issues efficiently to minimise disruption and delays.
  • Ensure works are carried out with consideration to the operational requirements.
