We are a growing construction and property delivery business working across London, specialising in the strip-out and fit-out of historic railway arches to create high-quality, rentable retail units. Due to a strong pipeline of work, we are looking for an experienced site manager to join the business.
The Role
You will take full responsibility for the delivery of several small-to-medium construction projects, typically valued between £100k and £1m, from pre-start through to handover. Projects generally include:
- Strip-out works
- CAT A / CAT B retail fit-outs
- Basic M&E coordination
- External and internal refurbishment works
This is a hands-on role suited to someone comfortable managing multiple sites, subcontractors, and clients simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing projects from start to finish
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants
- All aspects of health & safety compliance
- Liaising with clients, landlords, and stakeholders
- Ensuring all works comply with building regulations and CDM requirements
- Overseeing snagging and handover of completed units
About You
- Proven experience as a Site Manager (number 1)
- Background in fit-out, refurbishment, or retail construction
- Comfortable running projects in the £100k–£1.5m range
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Able to manage several projects at different stages simultaneously
- Good understanding of subcontractor management
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid
