Freelance Project Manager - Commercial Cat B Fit Out
Location: Ipswich
Rate: £400-£450 per day
Start: Immediately
We are recruiting for an experienced Freelance Project Manager to lead a multi-million-pound Cat B commercial office fit-out in Ipswich. This is a stand-alone role where you will take full responsibility for delivering the project from start to completion.
The Role:
- Take ownership of day-to-day delivery on a live Cat B fit-out project
- Manage subcontractors, programme, quality and H&S
- Drive progress against milestones and report to senior management/client team
- Oversee design coordination, procurement and site logistics
- Ensure the project is delivered to spec, on time and within budget
Requirements:
- Proven background delivering your own commercial fit-out projects (Cat B essential)
- Strong stand-alone leadership capability - able to run site independently
- Good technical knowledge and understanding of design, construction and services
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Available to start immediately
