CSA are looking for an Estimator with vast experience in the Façade sector of the construction industry to work for a highly recognised and respected company based in Swansea.
Experience Required:
- Use of windows, door, Curtain walling IT or similar estimating software preferred.
- Experience in the Facades sector of the construction industry is a prerequisite.
- Ability to provide well presented, accurate, and competitively priced estimates to our Main Contractors/customers, with the overall aim of securing projects.
DUTIES
- Key member of a team.
- Provide excellent customer service by producing well-presented accurate, timely and clear quotes.
- Add value to customers by regular liaison regarding project details and offer Value Engineered solutions when appropriate.
- Maximise best value by effective negotiation with customers and suppliers to secure projects at the best possible profit margin.
ABOUT YOU
- Understands technical and professional aspects of work and continually maintains technical knowledge.
- Analytical with an excellent eye for detail.
- IT skills – MS Word and Excel, Adobe Acrobat, to be able to do take offs from drawings essential.
- Relevant industry knowledge in particular – principles of building physics and structure as it relates to our services, good knowledge of curtain wall, doors and window façade products and current building regulations is essential.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Good level of accuracy and administrative efficiency.
- Ability to plan and schedule work.
- Must have a strong level of numeracy.
HOURS OF WORK
Monday – Thursday (07:30am – 16:30pm) Friday (07:30am – 13:30pm).
