CSA are currently sourcing a candidate for our long-standing client.

* MUST have a full UK driving license *

Our client is a local company with years of experience in the waste, materials recycling, and recovery industry. They operate purpose-built facilities in Carmarthenshire, managed by professional staff to ensure maximum recycling.

JOB TITLE: Recycling Operative

CONTRACT TYPE: Full-time temporary contract, on a temp-to-perm basis.

PAY RATE: Basic Pay Rate: £10.42 per hour

SHIFTS:

Monday – Sunday

08:00 – 18:00 (Summer hours)

08:00 – 16:00 (Winter hours)

Roles based at 3 sites in Llanelli, Ammanford, and Nantycaws

Role Duties:

• Follow instructions from line management regarding health and safety for all operatives and visitors
• Carry out daily operations as directed by Site Manager / Recycling Foreman, adhering to legislative requirements such as site license, environmental management systems, and work plans
• Ensure household waste is segregated and disposed of in the correct recycling containers/areas
• Inform Recycling Foreman of container disposal requirements
• Provide advice and assistance to members of the public
• Sort waste and remove non-recyclable items
• Inspect materials for contamination
