Location: Ebbw Vale, NP23 5SD.
Type : Fulltime (Permanent)
Salary: £11.68 per hour, 40 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 5-on 2-off – weekends included, 9.30pm to 6.00am

Job Purpose:
The Team Leader is accountable for achieving the given standards for hygiene for his/her area and has responsibility for the activities of their Hygiene Operatives. He/she is required to manage and control the cleaning of the factory to achieve the given targets, to the correct specifications and quality.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Maintaining standards of hygiene, quality and product safety within the designated area in order to meet the customer service standards and maintain product integrity

· Ensuring that all hygiene and line operatives are correctly deployed whilst motivating them to achieve expected standards in hygiene and safety.
· To coordinate labor resources having staff in the right place at the right time to ensure the area is run to maximum labor efficiencies
· To analyze and implement the weekly deep clean plan for your area and liaise closely with the other Team Leaders and the Hygiene Manager such that you are aware of your shift targets.
· To control, organize and manage, the area’s work force and its availability each night, such that all areas are cleaned.
· Maintain and uphold all aspects of Company policies, in particular standards of discipline, communication and industrial relations such that the management style minimizes staff turnover.
· The Team Leader is accountable for Safety Standards on his/her shift. To ensure a safety audit is carried out daily.
· To report to the Hygiene Manager immediately any occurrence that could affect the finances or security of the Company or put its name into disrepute.
· To undertake any other reasonable and relevant duties as required by the Hygiene Manager.

· Experience of working in a food environment, within hygiene
· IT Literacy with good knowledge of Microsoft office packages

· Ability to manage 3rd party relationships, with the confidence to interact with high profile customer representatives
The role is a skilled / Team Leader position and would ideally suit a candidate with experience in a Team Leader / Supervisory role previously within Hygiene, Cleaning, Production manufacturing, Food Production or FMCG.
