A well-established, highly recognised fenestration and curtain walling company based in Swansea.

CSA are looking for an experienced designer with a Façade background to work for a well-established and highly recognised company based in Swansea.

THE ROLE

The suitable candidate will have great customer service experience as they will be working closely alongside clients to discuss technical queries and cost-effective design proposals via telephone and email. They will need to be proficient in AutoCAD and any practical experience working with Revit or BIM. They will have proven industry experience and a good understating of the building regulations and BS standards relating to the design and workings of window, door, and curtain-walling systems.

ABOUT YOU

Be able to produce high end technical drawings and AutoCAD design proposals
Have a good eye for detail and accuracy
Be able to work diligently alone and within a well-established design team
Be able to confidently read and understand Technical drawings
Answer technical design queries from client, the company’s sales team & installers.
Attend internal and external meetings to discuss client requirements
Previous work experience of using AutoCAD (essential) and REVIT
MUST have knowledge of curtain walling, window, door & Structural Glazing design
Good understanding of building construction, methods & regulations
Previous experience working with clients and architects via telephone and email
Minimum of 2-3 Years’ Experience in Façade Design

HOURS OF WORK

Monday – Thursday (07:30am – 16:30pm) Friday (07:30am – 13:30pm).
