We are seeking part-time cover cleaners to join our existing team of commercial cleaners in the Letchworth and surrounding areas.
Pay: from £13.50 per hour plus out of local area travel expenses
Job Type: Part-time role on a permanent basis, with variable hours per week. You will play an important role in supporting our team. As a cover cleaner, you would provide cover cleaning to our clients' sites, both in your local area as well as further afield, for those who have a car, when our cleaning staff are absent or on holiday. Most of the work required will be in the evenings after 6.30pm and your hours of work will vary week to week depending on the level of cover required at sites, and your availability. Our busiest periods for cover cleaning are during school holiday periods. This role would suit individuals who are already cleaners and work at a site and are looking for additional hours and individuals who like the flexibility of hours that cover cleaning would provide by allowing you to work when you are able. If you have a car and are willing to travel, or can travel by bus, then additional cover may be available, and reasonable travel expenses outside of your local area will be reimbursed, including travel time.
Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Sanitize and disinfect surfaces regularly
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
- Restock supplies in washrooms and common areas
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
Requirements:
- Proficient in English to communicate effectively with team members
- Live within the Watford area
- Strong customer service skills to interact courteously with individuals
- Previous cleaning experience is advantageous, but not essential as full training will be given
- Ability to drive, or travel by bus to different work locations would be beneficial
