Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for providing full project management services, employers agent, and quantity surveying to the clients of the business across a range of sectors, as well as giving support and advice to other members of the Quantity Surveying Department.
- Deliver project management, employer’s agent, and quantity surveying services, from developing client briefs to overseeing construction and completion.
- Responsibilities include team selection, design review, tendering, contract administration, progress meetings, inspections, and cost management including valuations and payment applications.
- Effectively communicate with both internal and external parties ensuring all information is available for the successful implementation and completion of projects.
- Generate your own workload, maintaining relationships with existing clients and developing new client contacts and business opportunities.
- Advise, manage and guide colleagues to ensure targets are achieved.
- Develop relevant knowledge and skills through regular CPD activities and maintain an up-to-date awareness of all necessary legislation affecting the technical aspects of quantity surveying, sharing knowledge and information where appropriate.
- Record CPD in accordance with RICS requirements.
- Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
- Prepare and submit relevant administration in a timely and accurate manner, for example timesheets, expenses, database applications etc.
- Adhere to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment and materials for which the role has responsibility.
- Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health and safety, and quality management.
Person Specification
- A relevant RICS accredited university degree.
- Membership of RICS (MRICS).
