CS2, part of RSK Group, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for a full‑time permanent role based in our Manchester office.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a full quantity surveying service to clients across various sectors, including cost planning, tender documentation, contract documentation, on‑site valuations, interim payment applications, and Bills of Quantities.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external parties to ensure successful project implementation and completion.
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients and develop new client contacts and business opportunities.
  • Develop relevant knowledge and skills through regular CPD activities and maintain an up‑to‑date awareness of legislation affecting quantity surveying.
  • Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
  • Prepare and submit relevant administration in a timely and accurate manner (timesheets, expenses, database applications, etc.).
  • Adhere to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment and materials for which the role is responsible.
  • Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health and safety, and quality management.
  • Other duties as required from time to time.

Person Specification

  • RICS‑accredited university degree.
  • Membership of RICS (MRICS).
  • Experience providing advice on a range of building‑related matters.
  • Understanding of client needs.
  • Commercially aware.
  • Prioritise own workload.
  • Confident communicator.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Effective negotiating skills.
  • Fee target achievement.
