CS2, part of RSK Group, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for a full‑time permanent role based in our Manchester office.
Responsibilities
- Provide a full quantity surveying service to clients across various sectors, including cost planning, tender documentation, contract documentation, on‑site valuations, interim payment applications, and Bills of Quantities.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external parties to ensure successful project implementation and completion.
- Maintain relationships with existing clients and develop new client contacts and business opportunities.
- Develop relevant knowledge and skills through regular CPD activities and maintain an up‑to‑date awareness of legislation affecting quantity surveying.
- Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
- Prepare and submit relevant administration in a timely and accurate manner (timesheets, expenses, database applications, etc.).
- Adhere to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment and materials for which the role is responsible.
- Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health and safety, and quality management.
- Other duties as required from time to time.
Person Specification
- RICS‑accredited university degree.
- Membership of RICS (MRICS).
- Experience providing advice on a range of building‑related matters.
- Understanding of client needs.
- Commercially aware.
