Overview

An amazing job opportunity for a committed RMN or RNLD Nurse to work in an exceptional low secure hospital based in the Ayr, Scotland area. You will be working for one of UK\’s leading health care providers.

This special mental health service is a low secure hospital for males and females with mental illness and/or personality disorders.

Requirements

To be considered for this position you must be qualified as an RMN or RNLD Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.

Responsibilities

  • Providing a high standard of care to people with mental illness and personality disorder
  • Developing therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement
  • Following all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice
  • Contributing to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress
  • At a more senior level, leading shifts as well as mentoring and supporting student nurses and other members of the team

Salary and Benefits

The successful Nurse will receive a salary of £36,176 – £41,953 per annum DOE. Permanent vacancies are available for both days and night shifts.
