Overview

An outstanding job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Registered Manager to manage two exceptional services around the corner from each other based in the Wednesbury, West Midlands area. You will be working for one of UK\’s leading health care providers.

One of the services is a purpose designed for adults who may have had hospital stays, including secure care, and who require intensive behavioural support. Whilst the other supports adults with range of complex needs, including autism, LD & MH needs.

Requirements

To be considered for this position you must have an NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Dedicated to undertaking the management of supporting people with learning disabilities and other complex needs, your team will support service users in your care to achieve their goals in life and will actively seek out opportunities for them to develop their skills and confidence through a variety of staff involvement, activities and other initiatives
  • You will effectively lead and inspire your team to provide the highest quality person-centred support and care
  • Be responsible for delivering best practice in social care whilst continually developing the service
  • You will have the opportunity to use your skills in an environment where the effective management of people and processes will be critical to the services success

Skills & Experience (preferred)

  • Commitment to delivering high quality care
  • Previous managerial experience in a similar environment
  • Strong working knowledge of regulatory standards
  • Fine tuned decision making skills
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Flexibility and strong β€œcan do” attitude

Salary & Benefits

The successful Registered Manager will receive an excellent salary of Β£38,000 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role working 40 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
