A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in a brand new state‑of‑the‑art care home opened in the Holt, Norfolk area. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading health care providers. The latest flagship nursing home in historic Holt is the embodiment of elegance and luxury living, combining superb facilities. We are proud to offer residential, dementia, respite and nursing care in a beautiful and well‑designed setting.

To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting and deputising for the Home Manager, you will provide inspiring leadership to nursing and care colleagues and oversee the delivery of high quality clinical and pastoral care.
  • You will be the home’s nurse expert and your role will be a combination of utilising your nursing skills as well as your managerial and leadership skills.
  • You will focus on residents with complex needs, so it’s vital that you can conform with the latest guidelines, take far‑reaching decisions and maintain the highest levels of clinical governance, whilst regularly auditing practices and procedures.
  • Care plan development and assessments.
  • Look after all our residents alongside the team and offer personalised centred care.

Preferred skills and experience

  • Previous Deputy Home Manager experience.
  • The ability to engage with the service users to understand their needs in order to provide excellent services of care.
  • Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
  • The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors and staffing teams.
  • Good clinical skills.
  • Promote ownership of care programmes by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programmes within the home.

The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of £55,000 per annum. This is a permanent full‑time role for 40 hours a week working through day shifts. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
