An excellent new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Senior Care Worker to work in a medium sized care home based in the Norfolk area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers. Situated in historic Norfolk, this flagship medium-sized nursing home combines elegance, luxury living, and outstanding facilities. We are proud to offer residential, dementia, respite, and nursing care in a beautifully designed setting that promotes comfort, wellbeing, and independence.

Responsibilities:

  • Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents
  • Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals
  • Contribute to care planning and coach support workers
  • Take an active professional role in promoting the services offered when dealing with relatives, prospective residents and enquiries
  • Participate in updating and writing care plans and resident documentation
  • Be responsible for making and reporting realistic assessments of each resident to ensure continuity of care
  • Be responsible for administrating medication to the residents in accordance with policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Have a genuine desire to care for others

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven experience of working in a care setting
  • Must hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent

To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary: £16.00 - £17.00 per hour
  • Annual salary: £31,824 per annum
  • Pay frequency: monthly
  • This permanent full time role is 36 hours a week on a mix of shifts
