A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Family Therapist - CAMHS to work in an exceptional mental health hospital based in the Chelmsford, Essex area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading health care providers. The hospital has established an excellent reputation for providing high standards of treatment for a diverse range of mental health difficulties including addictions, depression, anxiety, and stress.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic support and interventions to children, adolescents, and their families to address mental health challenges.
- Facilitate family therapy sessions to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen family relationships.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary CAMHS team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Assess family dynamics and identify factors affecting the young person’s mental health and wellbeing.
- Offer guidance and support to families to promote coping strategies and resilience during inpatient treatment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong foundation in psychological theories and therapeutic techniques specific to family systems.
- Proven experience working with children, adolescents, and their families in clinical or community settings.

Salary and Benefits
The successful Family Therapist will receive an excellent salary of £32,000 – £42,400 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent part‑time role working 30 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
