An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a motivated Support Worker to work in an exceptional nursing home based in the Griston, Thetford area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading health care providers.
This nursing home provides a safe and stimulated environment where 24 hour qualified staff as well as a highly skilled care staff are here to assist with all residents’ requirements.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position you must have an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
Key duties
- Be an essential part of the team, promoting the well-being and providing the highest quality of care to residents.
- Assist with daily tasks, inclusive of all personal care assistance from supporting with personal hygiene, through to days out and companionship.
- Encourage independence, well-being and supporting vulnerable individuals with their daily routines and activities.
- Ensure accurate record keeping at all times.
Preferred skills and experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Have a genuine desire to care for others.
- Proven experience of working in a care setting.
- A good team player.
Salary and benefits
The successful Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of £12.60 per hour and the annual salary is £23,587.20 per annum.
