Our client, a globally recognised automotive brand, is seeking two talented Automotive Visualisation & Graphic Designers to join their innovative design team in Stratford, London. This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of automotive design, combining graphic creativity, 3D visualisation expertise, and emerging digital technologies to create striking vehicle liveries, decals, badging, and graphic identities. You will play a key role in translating bold design concepts into immersive digital experiences and production-ready automotive graphics. Key Responsibilities
  • 2D Graphic Design
    • Create innovative and impactful graphic design concepts in response to design briefs.
    • Develop cohesive graphic themes, typography, decals, badging, and visual assets for automotive applications.
    • Produce high-quality 2D graphic solutions aligned with vehicle design intent and brand identity.
  • 3D Visualisation & Execution
    • Apply and adapt 2D graphics across complex vehicle surfaces and components.
    • Ensure accurate graphic placement, scaling, mapping, and distortion-free execution on 3D automotive forms.
    • Create and prepare highly detailed digital models for rendering and design reviews.
  • Collaboration
    • Work closely with Exterior, Interior, and Component Designers, as well as Clay and Digital Modellers.
    • Support the integration of graphic design elements with the overall vehicle design language.
  • Virtual Reality & Digital Reviews
    • Prepare digital assets for immersive VR design reviews and executive presentations.
    • Support design evaluations and stakeholder sign-off activities.
  • Innovation & Emerging Technologies
    • Explore and implement AI-assisted design tools, generative design techniques, and parametric workflows.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement of creative processes and visualisation methodologies.
  • Prototyping & Validation
    • Prepare vector artwork for physical decal and livery production.
    • Support the application, alignment, and validation of graphics on prototype vehicles and components.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Technical Skills
    • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly: Adobe Illustrator; Adobe Photoshop.
    • Strong experience using: Autodesk VRED; Unreal Engine.
    • Ability to translate 2D graphic concepts onto complex 3D automotive surfaces.
  • Automotive Graphic Design Experience
    • Proven professional experience within the automotive sector.
    • Strong portfolio demonstrating: vehicle liveries; decals; stripes; badging; automotive branding applications.
  • Personal Attributes
    • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy.
    • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, exploratory design environment.
Desirable Experience
  • Experience with Blender and/or Autodesk Maya.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered design tools such as Vizcom.
  • Knowledge of automotive product development processes (GPDS or similar).
  • Ability to develop and execute graphics across a variety of vehicle segments and brand aesthetics, including: motorsport and performance liveries; heritage-inspired graphics; minimalist premium design themes; technology-focused visual identities; lifestyle and trend-driven graphics.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in: Graphic Design; Automotive Design; Transportation Design; Industrial Design; Digital Modelling. Or equivalent practical industry experience.
