Who we are CS PM Consultancy Ltd is a veteran owned and operated Programme, Project & Portfolio Management (P3M) Company specialising in the built environment, particularly within Defence, local government, and nuclear industry. We are dedicated to delivering outstanding PM services to our clients. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Project Manager (PM) to join our team. As a PM, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects across the full RIBA lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to our growing business and work on challenging and innovative projects.

Responsibilities

  • 1. Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including, objectives, scope, timelines, resources, and budgeting. Ensure alignment with client requirements and project goals.
  • 2. Project Execution: Lead project teams in the execution of project plans, ensuring adherence to project milestones, deliverables, and quality standards. Monitor project progress, identify, and address issues, changes or risks that may impact project outcomes.
  • 3. Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Proactively engage with stakeholders to ensure effective communication, manage expectations, and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise.
  • 4. Resource Management: Efficiently allocate and manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials. Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure resource availability and timely delivery.
  • 5. Risk Management: Identify and assess project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement risk management plans. Regularly monitor and evaluate project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • 6. Project Documentation: Maintain accurate & up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, change requests, and other relevant project records. Ensure compliance with company standards and client requirements.
  • 7. Financial Management: Monitor project budgets, track project expenses, and provide regular financial reports. Identify and implement cost-saving measures while ensuring project quality and client satisfaction.
  • 8. Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members, promoting professional growth and development.

Requirements

Must be a UK Veteran.

Qualifications

  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g. engineering or business administration).
  • Level 5 or 6 Diploma in Leadership and Management, (CMI or ILM). Demonstrating a strong foundation in leadership principles and management practices.
  • Project Management Certification such as APM, PMP, Prince2 or equivalent.
  • Developed Vetting (DV), Security Checking (SC) clearance, or willing to apply for clearance. (BPSS is a minimum requirement for acceptance).
  • Proven experience as a PM, preferably within the built environment or related industries. Demonstrated track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to completion.
  • Professional H&S Certifications such as IOSH, NEBOSH and SMSTS.
