Business Administration Apprentice to join our team based at our South Luffenham site, with a focus on Commercial & Marketing.

To provide administrative support to the Commercial and Marketing teams while working towards the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard.

The apprentice will gain hands-on experience in sales support, marketing administration, customer engagement, market research, and commercial operations, helping to drive business growth and maintain strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation of quotations, proposals, and tender documentation.

  • Maintain customer records and sales databases, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
  • Support the Commercial Team with customer account administration and reporting.
  • Process and track sales enquiries, opportunities, and customer requests.
  • Prepare commercial reports, presentations, and performance data for management meetings.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Assist in monitoring contract renewals and customer agreements.
  • Marketing Support
  • Assist with planning and coordinating marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Support the creation and distribution of marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, newsletters, and social media content.
  • Maintain website content and marketing databases where required.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to support business development activities.
  • Track and report on marketing campaign performance using relevant tools and systems.
  • Help organise exhibitions, events, customer visits, and promotional activities.
  • Support brand consistency across all communications and marketing materials.
  • General Administration
  • Manage incoming emails, telephone calls, and correspondence.
  • Organise meetings, maintain diaries, and prepare meeting documentation.
  • Produce accurate documents, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  • Maintain filing systems and company records in accordance with GDPR requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and administrative processes.
  • Participate fully in apprenticeship training and complete all coursework and assessments.

  • GCSE Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths, or willingness to work towards Functional Skills qualifications if required.
