Are you organised, detail‑focused, and looking to build a successful career in finance? We’re seeking an enthusiastic Accounts Payable Associate to join our existing Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, has great attention to detail, and wants to develop within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks- Reviewing and processing supplier invoices, credit notes and owning the investigation process of any discrepancies highlighted when reconciling supplier statements.
- Responsible for working with internal stakeholders to ensure timely sign off requests to meet external SLAs, monitoring costs against budgets.
- Generating weekly payment runs.
- Identifying and processing inter-company recharging in a timely manner.
- Maintaining accurate financial records and data entry.
- Assisting with bank reconciliations and month‑end tasks.
- Supporting the preparation of financial reports including compliance reporting where required.
- Providing administrative support to the Financial Controller and wider team.
- Essential: Experience in an accounts role, confident with numbers and basic accounting principles, good Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software, strong accuracy, organisation, and time‑management, excellent communication skills verbally and written.
- Desirable: Studying towards or interested in AAT (or similar), experience with systems like Wero, Sage or QuickBooks.
