Our HGV Drivers are our Company ambassadors out on the road, driving locally and nationwide, representing our business in the eyes of our customers and the public.
It is essential that all our drivers conduct themselves in line with company values and vision - being friendly with excellent communication skills, operating within legal compliance, and having good geographical knowledge. We are currently seeking a reliable and flexible Class 2 (Category C) Driver to join our team, who must be willing and able to drive lower class vehicles (e.g. Class 3 / 7.5T / vans) as operationally required.
This role involves multi-drop deliveries within a pallet network operation, requiring strong time management, professionalism, and a customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out multi-drop deliveries and collections efficiently and safely
- Operate within a pallet network, ensuring all consignments are handled correctly
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures
- Ensure accurate completion of delivery paperwork and use of POD systems
- Provide excellent customer service at all delivery points
- Assist with loading/unloading where required
Requirements:
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- ADR Qualified is preferred, but not essential
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience preferred (ideally within a pallet network)
- Good geographical knowledge of the local and surrounding areas
- Strong work ethic and flexible attitude
- Good communication and customer service skills
