The successful applicant will have experience from a previous buying, purchasing, or procurement role and have knowledge of ERP and CRM systems. Familiarity with Quality Assurance standards, ideally ISO/BSI 9001, is also desirable.
The main purpose of the role will be responsibility for managing supplier relationships, placing and maintaining purchase orders, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods. Supporting business operations by improving delivery performance, maintaining accurate system data, contributing to quality assurance processes, and assisting in cost reduction and new product sourcing initiatives.
