About the Role

Our client is a well-established and growing UK manufacturing business seeking an experienced Head of Finance to join their senior leadership team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to play a pivotal role in the continued success of a thriving organisation.

Responsibilities

As Head of Finance, you will take overall responsibility for the efficient management of the company's financial operations, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting and the delivery of timely financial information to support strategic decision‑making.

This is a hands‑on leadership role, requiring someone who is equally comfortable managing day‑to‑day financial activities as they are producing management accounts and providing commercial insight to the board.

Qualifications

The successful applicant will ideally be fully qualified or actively studying towards ACA, ACCA or CIM with a strong background in management accounting.

Excellent knowledge of UK accounting standards.

Experience of VAT, payroll and statutory reporting.

Location & Salary

Based near Tunbridge Wells. Parking on site. Salary 40k - 50k pa (dependent on experience).
