Sales Manager required for well established business, distributing high-quality cleaning and healthcare products to a wide range of industries including education, hospitality and healthcare. The successful candidate will be required to develop and implement a sales strategy, win new business with the team whilst performance managing the Field Sales and Internal Sales teams to help them deliver sales and profit growth objectives.
Duties will include:
- Developing a culture of winning and keeping business
- Winning new key customers and maintaining a robust sales pipeline
- Developing and maintaining existing Key Customers
- Reviewing sales plans, territories, activities and pipeline annually to ensure sales resources are used in the most effective manner
- Developing professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
- Establishing and adjusting selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand
- Maintaining sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors
