Crystal Electronics are looking for experienced Electricians to join our team based in Exeter and surrounding areas. We are expanding our Nationwide Team due to exciting new opportunities. The work ranges from EICR's, EV Charging Point installations, Emergency Lighting Installations and Maintenance within both Domestic and Commercial settings.

Salary and Hours:

  • Basic salary ranges from £45,000 to £50,000 (dependent on experience)
  • Bonus incentive scheme in place
  • Full-time, Permanent Opportunity
  • 40 hours per week 08:00am - 17:00pm, working 5 out of 7 days including weekends (mainly Saturdays) with a Lieu Day of your choice
  • Overtime available

The Role:

You will be required to carry out various aspects of EICR's, Repairs & Maintenance work, installations of Emergency Lighting and EV Charging Points, ensuring a high quality is always maintained. This includes:

  • Installation of EV Charging Points in Domestic and Commercial settings
  • Conducting routine Maintenance and Testing on EV Charging circuits
  • Providing Customer support and interaction during their Electrical Installations
  • Undertaking Fault Finding, Diagnostics and Repairs of Electrical systems
  • Using EasyCert (PDa System) to complete certificates
  • Management of own stock - Completing collections via local suppliers
  • Travelling to client sites and undertaking work remotely
  • Reporting completed work to our Head Office team, communicating any follow-ups required
  • Completing EICR's and carrying out any Remedial works

Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical Qualification or equivalent
  • 18th Edition wiring regulations

Desirable Qualifications:

  • 2391 Periodic Inspection & Testing
  • EV course

Experience:

  • Completing EICR's and Electrical Responsive Repairs
  • Fault Finding & Testing

Person Specification:

  • Full Clean Driving License (Manual License required)
  • A Clean DBS Check
  • Ability to manage own Company Vehicle
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Excellent Organisation skills
  • Time Management
