Aerial and Satellite Engineer

Crystal Electronics are looking for an Aerial and Satellite Installation Technician to join our national team. We are currently hiring for Hemel Hempstead.

This opportunity offers a variety of duties including installation of TV aerials, Satellite, IRS, SMATV, MATV systems. Completing works to a defined industry standard and best practice to the highest level whilst portraying the Crystal Electronics Ltd values.

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary from £30,000 per annum, negotiable dependent on experience & qualifications.
• Full time, Permanent Opportunity.
• 40 hours per week. 08:00 17:00, working 5 out of 7 days including some weekends mainly Saturdays with Lieu Day of your choice.

The Role:

• Installation of TV aerials, Satellite, IRS, SMATV, MATV systems.
• Providing quotations for works required.
• Fault finding and problem solving.
• Working within domestic, communal, and commercial environments.
• Completing all works to the highest standard.
• Ensuring health and safety standards are always met.
• Managing van stock & liaising with head office to replenish stock as required.
• Reporting works to the head office team and provide detailed information of the works completed.
• Customer service to the highest standard to ensure the completed work meets the customers satisfaction.

Desired Qualifications, not essential:

• NVQ level 2 in signal/aerial reception.
• Digital TV systems resettlement course (RCT Aldershot).
• CAI basic aerial installation qualification.
• CAI basic satellite installation qualification.
• Working at heights certificate.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Experience in installing, maintaining and servicing aerial and satellite systems.
• Experience with IRS, MATV and SMATV systems.
• Electrical, CCTV or door entry experience would be advantageous.
• Ability to work at height and in confined spaces.
• Full and clean driving license.
• Clean DBS check.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Good communication both written and verbal.
• Ability to run a van and manage stock levels.
