We are looking for an experienced Senior Sales Administrator to play a key role in supporting and strengthening the effectiveness of the sales team, working closely with the Sales Director to ensure the function operates smoothly, efficiently and consistently. This role focuses on providing structure, insight and operational support to the sales team, ensuring they have the tools, information, reporting and coordination needed to perform at their best and drive revenue growth. You will act as a trusted point of support for the Sales Director, working across sales, marketing, product and operations to ensure sales activity is aligned, well-organised and data-driven.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Support & Administration
- Provide day-to-day support to a sales team, ensuring access to up-to-date presentations, product information, case studies and sales documentation
- Maintain accurate CRM data and support effective pipeline management
- Assist with client engagement processes to help improve conversion rates
- Stakeholder & Leadership Support
- Work closely with the Sales Director, providing reporting, insights, and operational support
- Act as a key link between sales leadership and wider business functions
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure sales materials, messaging and campaigns are aligned
- Act as a central point of contact to ensure sales resources are relevant, accessible and kept up to date
- Sales Reporting & Performance Support
- Track sales activity, performance metrics, and reporting for the wider sales team
- Use data and insights to identify trends, gaps and opportunities for improvement
- Training & Onboarding Support
- Coordinate onboarding for new sales team members
- Support ongoing training initiatives and sales process improvements
- Process Improvement & Enablement
- Support the development and implementation of sales processes and best practices
- Ensure the sales team has the right information, tools and guidance at the right time
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in a senior sales administration, sales operations or sales support role
- Experience supporting a multi-person sales team and working closely with senior sales leadership
- Strong understanding of sales processes, customer engagement and pipeline management
- Confident using CRM systems, reporting and data to support decision-making
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing operational detail with commercial awareness
