We are working with a well-established law firm in Harrow who are looking to appoint an experienced and motivated Conveyancing Solicitor to join their growing property team. This role offers the opportunity to manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to post-completion, with some exposure to light commercial property work. You will be client-facing, hands-on and supported by an experienced team, delivering a high standard of service throughout the transaction process.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Remortgages and transfers of equity
- New build and Help to Buy transactions
- Leases for small retail units or office premises
- Commercial sales or purchases (typically under £1m)
Skills & Experience Required
- Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years PQE in residential conveyancing
- Proven experience managing a conveyancing caseload independently
- Exposure to light commercial property work is advantageous but not essential
- Strong technical knowledge of residential conveyancing procedures
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
