We are excited to be recruiting on behalf of a long established, nationwide furniture restoration business that operates in both the domestic and commercial sectors. This is a field-based role where you’ll be the face of the business in customers’ homes, delivering high-quality repairs, clear inspection/liability reporting, and top-tier customer service to new and existing customers.

If you’re an experienced Upholsterer, Furniture Repair Technician, Furniture Technician, Service Technician, or have done in-home repairs/inspections on sofas, chairs, beds, mattresses or cabinetry, this is a strong move into a stable, well-supported role with proper training, structure, and progression.
Responsibilities
- Attend pre-booked appointments in your region to perform furniture repairs and inspections on upholstery, cabinets, beds and mattresses.
- Use a custom-built app for inspection and liability reporting.
- Communicate professionally with customers from arrival to completion.
- Maintain high standards in both repair quality and report quality, keeping the furniture in the home, the customer happy, and the client fully informed through reporting.
Training and Support
Full training is provided at the West Midlands HQ with hotel and travel covered. A dedicated training centre and experienced training managers help close any skill gaps so you’re confident before working independently. You will also have access to head-office based Technician Managers for technical support whenever you need it.
Requirements
- Strong experience in upholstery and/or furniture repair (upholstery experience preferred).
- Full UK driving licence (required).
- Professional, customer-facing mindset – calm, tidy, reliable, and confident communicating in a home environment.
- High standards on workmanship and written reporting.
Work Location
Field-based / on the road (postcode-area scheduling).
