We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Industrial Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment within industrial premises. This role is essential in ensuring that all areas are presentable and conducive to a productive work atmosphere. A background in commercial cleaning is advantageous, as it will enhance your ability to meet our high standards of cleanliness.
Hours are 3 per week, Tuesday 7.30am.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming and mopping floors.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
- Follow health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained in good condition.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as required.
Experience:
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Ability to handle cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
