Location: Crystal Care Solutions - Lowry


Residential Children's Worker Role, - Waking nights Full Time, working a 5:2 shift system (a rolling 2 week rota : 5 shifts in week 1, 2 shifts in week 2) alternative weekends off.

Your Role



  • Build positive, respectful relationships with children and young people.

  • Support care plans, development goals, and emotional well-being.

  • Promote safeguarding, routines, and behavioural boundaries.

  • Engage young people in education, recreation, and daily life skills.

  • Act as a key worker and lead shifts where appropriate.

  • Maintain records and liaise with families and external professionals.


Salary Subject To Experience/Qualifications - Overtime Available

Essential



  • Ability to build positive relationships with young people and colleagues.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Competent in Microsoft Office (or willing to learn).

  • Positive role model with integrity and professionalism.

  • Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and sleep-ins.

  • Full UK driving licence.

  • Commitment to ongoing development.


Desirable



  • Experience working with children or vulnerable people.

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).

  • Knowledge of child development, trauma, and safeguarding.

  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks.

  • Ability to maintain and develop positive relationships with children, professionals and colleagues

  • Ability to act as a positive role model demonstrating honesty and integrity

  • Commitment to complete a Level 3 in Residential Childcare

  • Ability to work night shifts including weekends

  • Ability to support care plans, development goals, and emotional well-being of young people.

  • Ability to maintain records and liaise with families and external professionals.

  • Level 3 in Residential Childcare, or equivalent qualification

  • Experience working with children and young people in a residential or care setting.
