The Role: As a Care Assistant at Maris View you will be required to provide the best possible care and support (physically and emotionally) to our residents on a day or nightly basis. Your responsibilities will include personal care, getting ready for the day/night ahead, assisting with meals (food and nutrition) and providing day to day social interaction which is just as important as each individual's physical wellbeing. Being a Care Assistant is a busy role where our resident's needs will be your top priority. You will be supported by a senior in charge on every shift as well as a hands on management team who are in the home each day. You will ensure all resident activity is recorded effectively (training will be provided) and any concerns are highlighted in a timely manner. You will quickly become part of the care home family and let's be honest, our team members are what makes our home a great place to live and work!
Hours of work: Part Time days 07:00- 14:30 or 14:30- 22:00 (26.5 hours per week) Full Time Days: 08:00-20:00 totalling to an average of 42 hours per week.
Salary: £13.79 per hour
