Bank Laundry Assistant to join our team and deliver an exceptional laundry service with care and compassion.

About the Role As a Laundry Assistant, you'll play an important part in the daily life of our home by providing a high-quality laundry service that meets the individual needs of every resident.

You'll ensure clothing and linens are cleaned, cared for and returned promptly, while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and infection prevention.

Working closely with colleagues across the home, you'll help create an environment where residents feel valued, respected and comfortable.

Key Responsibilities Provide a high-quality laundry service, following appropriate fabric care instructions and residents' individual requirements.

Ensure all residents' clothing and personal items are clearly labelled, well maintained and returned promptly to the correct person.

Respect residents' privacy, dignity and confidentiality at all times.

Comply with Health & Safety, COSHH, Infection Prevention & Control and all relevant legislation and company policies.

Operate laundry equipment safely and report any faults or maintenance issues promptly to the Maintenance Operative and General Manager.

Monitor the laundry environment to ensure it remains clean, organised and safe at all times.

Use initiative to identify and deal with spillages or hazards immediately.

Work collaboratively with colleagues, attending meetings and training sessions while contributing to a positive and supportive team culture.

Support the wider home wherever appropriate to ensure residents receive the highest standard of service.

About You We're looking for someone who: Takes pride in delivering high standards and paying attention to detail.

Is organised and able to manage workloads efficiently.

Has a caring, respectful and compassionate approach towards older people.

Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively with colleagues.

Is reliable, proactive and able to use their own initiative.

Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
